“Creating a CD Backup”

To back up files or folders in Windows Xp, place a writeable CD or DVD disk into your CD or DVD Rom drive.

Locate the files or folder you wish to back up. Right click on the file or folder, choose the Send To option, and then choose your rewriteable drive.

Notification will appear that files are ready to be written to the drive. Select the balloon, here you can review the files you are currently backing up. Select File on the toolbar and select the Write these Files to CD option. When completed, you will be notified and ask to name your back up CD.
