Windows XP Tune up Video #7

“Using Caps Lock Notifications”

You can have Windows XP set to notify you with a beep every time you press the CAPS LOCK or Num Lock keys. This can be a real time saver when you press the CAPS LOCK key by accident.

To adjust this setting, go to your Start button and select Control Panel. Choose Accessibility Options.

On the Keyboard tab, select Use Toggle Keys. You will get a sound whenever the CAPS LOCK, Num Lock, and Scroll Lock keys are selected, select Apply, and then OK.

You will now be notified every time you accidentally press the CAPS LOCK, Num Lock or Scroll Lock keys.
