Run a Free System Scan for iexplore.exe Related Errors
Description:
iexplore.exe is the primary file that runs the Microsoft Internet Explorer. This application allows you to read websites and access nearly all content available on the Internet. This is not an essential process per se, but it is likely integral to most of your modern computing needs. This process should not be terminated unless you suspect it of causing other system problems.
Some malware, usually Trojans, disguise themselves with this name. This malicious program then steals your personal information and can lead to online identity theft. Determining whether the legitimate Windows Application or the malware is running a particular process thread is difficult. Bug Doctor can be used to determine what directory the file is running from. If it is found to be the malware you should terminate the task immediately.
Recommendation for iexplore.exe:
This process should never be disabled or stopped, as it is necessary for certain applications to perform correctly. Increase your computer speed drastically with the Bug Doctor
