		<description>I cant play a single movie file...no matter what codec packs I install...I have even reinstalled my XP 3 times to try to fix the problem, and still nothing. I can open the file, but no picture, just the audio...(Its called a movie for a reason...we watch them to see MOVEment, not noise...)</description>

unistalled both media player and codecs pack but theres still no audio sound it must be only a slight problem but hell if I know is there a special site apart from microsoft where they give you free.downloads audio codecs for this player

Could you please tell me or advice me what is the name of the codecs to play my audio music I aint tried playing a video yet hope thats not the same</description>

All audio files that have been digitized from vinyl recordings and tapes distort terribly when played using wmp11.  This is not true using other players.  I've tried it on several different computers and the results are the same.  This will not be a useful tool until Microsoft fixes the audio codecs it is using.</description>

		<description>I am having a problem with windows media player 11 where it will not add files to my library from a NAS box they were there but they then vanished and when I re scan it finds over 4000 files but adds none of them I can play the files if I open them but this is no good as I use a Netgear Media streamer can any one help please</description>
