I like the delete junk mail suggestion. To many people forget to set some sort of auto delete of spam/junk mail.

i remove many things from startup and its made alot different to my computer speed and did the same for my son in law…

Hey,

Great article! I have a similar guide on one of my sites and also suggest disabling unneeded processes and disabling the windows indexing service. These are a bit more advanced though. Also, I like running a virus check just to make sure their aren’t any viruses slowing down a computer. This is a great list overall though and would definately forward this article to users in need.
