Reimage repair

Reimage is a different kind of repair software. It actually goes through your computer and looks for Windows files that are corrupt or even missing. Then it replaces these files as needed, without touching your information.

After running Reimage your compuer will feel like it is brand new and basically has a fresh installation of Windows but all of your data and programs are still there. It’s just your PC restored to a like new state by using the reimage repair tool.

Using Reimage repair

Using Reimage repair is as easy as it could possibly be. Just install Reimage repair software and follow the commands shown. It is made so that you don’t have to be a computer technician to use it. Using reimage will take about an hour or so to repair your PC.

Download Reimage Here

<img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-544" title="Reimage repair" src="http://www.pcnineoneone.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/top.png" alt="reimage repair"width="600" height="361" />

Is Reimage repair easy to use?

Absolutely. As you know, we don’t recommend products here at PC911 unless they are highly beneficial. This program has helped fix over 1 Million computers worldwide and works with all versions of Windows.

We have even recommended it to our mailing list of thousands of computer users and received literally dozens of really positive feedback. Reimage really does repair your computer instead of just cleaning your registry like so many other so called repair tools. This is the only tool I know of that actually replaces missing and corrupt Windows files. I easily fixed my aunt’s computer when a virus took it over. We managed to run reimage and it took over and removed the virus, replaced the Windows files that the virus had damaged and after it was finished the computer worked like brand new. This is the program you have been looking for to repair any windows problems without having to reinstall.

Download Reimage Here

I have used it to fix my workstation PC twice over the course of 2 years and it saved me from having to reinstall Windows. Normally this workstation gets so much beta version software installed on it that it needs to be reformatted every 6 months or so. Now instead of reinstalling Windows you can just run Reimage repair and let it do its magic.

Top 10 Internet Safety Rules

The internet has made many things easier for us, but it has also created a whole new venue for con-men. We hope to improve your safety while on the internet with this list of rules. Crooks can destroy our computers or access our personal information unless we learn to protect ourselves. Here’s how to do that.

Bookmark these internet safety rules !

1. Make sure your computer has a firewall.

Most computers come with a firewall installed. You should customize the privacy
settings, before you start browsing the internet using a new computer. If you have
several computers in your home, you can protect them all using a router with a firewall
installed. Some homeowners find that a secure router is more convenient. Firewalls help
prevent hackers from accessing the information stored in your computer’s memory.

2. Install an anti-virus software program.

Anti-virus software protects against viruses. Viruses are basically a kind of vandalism.
They serve no real purpose. The codes for many viruses are written by practical
jokesters. Once your computer is “infected”, everything seems to slow down.
Other programs may act strangely. Eventually, your system may crash all together.

3. Install an anti-spyware program.

Spyware and viruses are similar, but the purpose is not the same. People install spyware
in order to gain access to your personal information or to use your email address to send
spam to all of your friends.

4. Regularly upgrade the security features of your operating system.

Depending on the type of operating system that you have and the type of web browser
you use, you may receive notifications when upgrades or updates are available. You
should choose the “install now” option. The programs are upgraded regularly, because
hackers are constantly changing the ways they operate. You have to change, too.

These internet safety rules can help you avoid a lot of the common issues people get.

5. Regularly upgrade all of the security software programs mentioned above.

Programs are available to automatically upgrade or update, whenever a new patch or anti-
virus becomes available. If you don’t have an automatic version, you will need to install
the upgrades yourself. Hopefully, the system will notify you when one is available.

6. Choose good passwords and keep them in secure locations.

This might be number six, but it is one of the most important of the top 10 ways to
keep your computer safe online. Hackers have to figure out your passwords in order to
gain access to your system. There are cheap programs that allow them to do that. One
program tries every word in the dictionary.

A robber could enter your home and transfer money from your bank account or steal your

personal information, if they can find your passwords. Either keep your passwords on
your person at all times or store them in a locking box or safe.

Use different passwords for different websites. This will help limit the amount of
information stolen in case you are hacked. You can easily pick the first half of any name
and append a special number to the end to create passwords on the fly that you can recall
easily. Never use your debit pin number for anything online though.

Of all these internet safety rules this one is really important.

Passwords should be 8-10 characters long. Numbers and/or symbols should be included
along with lower case and upper case letters. Don’t use your kid’s names or anything
else that would be easy for a thief to figure out.

Change your passwords every three to six months just to be safe. You can use a
password auto-generator if you can’t come up with unique, difficult to crack passwords
on your own.

7. Invest in an external hard drive just in case.

No matter how good your security system or how unusual your passwords, no system
can be 100% safe. That’s why you need a backup system. You could store important
information on removable discs, but storing those discs becomes a problem. An
external hard drive is a good solution. It is not connected to the internet, can be
stored in a safe location and should have enough memory to serve all of your needs.

8. Think twice about file sharing.

File sharing can be tempting. Other internet users offer free software programs and other
downloads. But the files can easily contain viruses or spyware. Just think twice before
you accept these offers.

9. Learn to identify and avoid phishing scams.

Of all our internet safety rules, this one is very important. Phishing scams are used by individuals
and bogus companies to get your personal information. Social security numbers, bank account
numbers and credit card numbers are among the things they may ask for.

The emails they send typically look very authentic. It will appear to come from a creditor
that you do business with. You will be advised to click on a link included in the email to
verify your information.

The email may indicate that failure to click on the link and verify your info immediately
could result in your account being closed or cause other problems. Do not click on the
links. Call the creditor’s number that appears on your statement and explain the situation.

10. Read their privacy policies before dealing with an online merchant and look for a
security icon.

Although some scammers have become quite good at forging security icons, they usually
lack a page confirming their privacy policy. There may also be some differences in the
appearance of the icon, which usually resembles a shield.

In addition, you can look at the website address. Website addresses of non-secure sites
begin with “http”. As with most internet safety rules, this one is important too. Secure site
addresses begin with “https”. The “s” stands for secure.

These internet safety rules can really help you protect yourself online. Another great
post we have made to help you protect yourself is our Top 10 ways to prevent Identity Theft.

Don’t forget to

Here’s a list of the top 10 ways to prevent identity theft.

The list is not in order of importance. All of these suggestions will help ensure that thieves cannot access your
personal information.

1. Don’t give out your social security number.

Depending on your age, you may remember a time when driver’s licenses in some states
bore social security numbers and many people included the identification numbers on
their checks. Businesses often required the number in order to cash a check or accept one
as payment. This is a big step for you to help prevent identity theft.

That was one of the ways that thieves were able to steal people’s identities.
Unless it is a requirement, as it would be for filling out an application for credit, don’t
give your social security number to anyone.

2. Request a copy of your credit report on an annual basis.

You can get reports from the three major credit bureaus for free every year. If you notice
an application for credit that you didn’t make or a new account that you didn’t open, you
have been a victim. See #10 of the top 10 ways to prevent identity theft.

3. Don’t ignore it when bills seem to be missing.

One of the ways that thieves gain access to your personal information is to steal your
mail. The more information they have about you, the easier it is for them to “become”
you, at least on paper. Act immediately if something seems to be missing, particularly a
credit card or bank statement. See suggestion #10.

4. Buy a small safe or lock box.

This is an especially good idea for anyone that has roommates or a housekeeper. We
want to trust these people, but it’s still not a good idea to leave passports, social security
cards or other important documents lying around. A small safe or even a locking box is
enough to deter most people.

5. Purchase a shredder.

You can shred all of your bank statements, cancelled checks and credit card statements
or even all of your mail once it’s been read. Dumpster diving is another way that people
steal personal info.

6. Don’t give out your account numbers, addresses or other personal information over the phone.

If you receive an unexpected call from your bank or credit card company, call them back.
One of the scams used by con-men recently was to call up a bank’s customer, pretend to
be working for the bank and ask them to verify their personal information. If you get a
call like this, call the number on your bank or credit card statement. If it’s a scam, the
company will be alerted.

7. Safeguard your computer(s).

You need to make sure you have anti virus, antispyware and anti identity theft software on your pc. Here are
my recommendations for each.
Anti Virus – AVG
Anti Spyware – Spyware Doctor
Anti Identity Theft – PC Cop

8. Ignore internet links in emails.

Even if the link appears to be from someone you know, don’t click on it. G-mail and
some of the better systems will now show you the actual email address if you hover over
the one you see. If you have some good virus protection software, you don’t have to
worry about this one. You can prevent identity theft by not falling into the phishing schemes.

9. Don’t ignore letters concerning purchases you did not make.

Some people get notices from companies concerning purchases they did not make.
Instead of calling the company to try and correct the situation, they shrug and ignore it.

When you get a call or a letter like that, you have already been a victim, but it’s not too
late.

10. Notify the correct authorities immediately if you suspect you have been a victim of
identity theft.

The first step is to put a “fraud alert” on all of your credit reports. That will prevent
anyone from trying to use your identity to get credit.

Second, call the company that opened the account without your approval. Follow up with
a written letter advising the company that you will not be responsible for any charges
made on the account.

Third, file a police report. This is a way of proving to creditors that you have been a
victim.

Fourth, report the incident to the Federal Trade Commission. This helps other people and
police officers with their investigations.Fifth, keep copies of all letters sent and document every phone call that you make. The more evidence you have, the more convincing your case will be to the creditors,
investigators and credit bureaus.

Here is a recent post entitled, What is the best identity theft protection software. If we are going to prevent identity theft on any kind of large scale we need to make it harder for these thieves to steal our identity. If you have ever had someone use your credit without permission then you know firsthand the importance for us to prevent identity theft.

Learn how to add memory to your pc. If you need to find what type of memory
your computer needs use the Crucial Memory Advisor Tool.<img src="http://www.ftjcfx.com/image-2361840-5032654" border="0" alt="add memory to my PC"width="1" height="1" />

Learning how to add memory to my PC was not that difficult. There was lots of
information on the internet. Here’s a look at the most important steps.

Choosing the Right Kind of RAM

The manual that came with my system provided that information. But there are several
handy tools on the internet that you can use in case you lost your manual or you bought
your system second hand.

Most systems today use DDR, DDR2 or DDR3. The letters and numbers indicate the
system’s memory-transfer speed. But the highest speed may not be compatible with your
motherboard. My current system uses DDR2.

Become Familiar with the Motherboard

If you have never looked inside your computer’s tower or case, that’s really the first
step. Even before you order some RAM, you need to find out how much more your
motherboard will take. If she’s full, you would have to invest in a new board, which is
not something I would attempt.

The motherboard provides the electrical connections through which everything in your
system communicates. In Apple computers, it is known as the “logic board”. I don’t
own an Apple. I just thought it was worth mentioning.

When I was learning how to add memory to my PC, I looked carefully at each of the
connectors, sockets and slots on the motherboard. The manual that came with my
computer provided information concerning which slots were used for RAM.

Like most new computers, mine had several slots for RAM chips. What you want
to look for is an empty slot or two. That will tell you how many chips to order.

Order & Install the Chips

Once you receive your order, check to make sure that the chips look like the ones you
already have in your motherboard. When I was learning how to add memory to my PC, I
was lucky. My order was correct the first time. Some people aren’t so lucky.

The chips should snap right into the empty slots. That’s the easiest part of the
whole process. Depending on your operating system, it may be the final step.

All of the latest Windows operating systems will automatically notice that the new chip is
there and start to use it. I’m told that Apple computers have this capability too.

You can order memory for your pc using the Crucial Memory Advisor Tool, it will
tell you exactly what memory you need for your computer.<img src="http://www.ftjcfx.com/image-2361840-5032654" border="0" alt="add memory to my PC"width="1" height="1" />

Ask for Help

You should be able to learn how to add memory to my PC without a problem. If you need help,
call the manufacturer’s help line or check out one of the online forums. It should be easy
to find a solution.

HasOffers Review

Have you been wanting to start your own affiliate program or even your own affiliate network? You just need affiliate network software to run everything for you. Until now this was complicated and costly, HasOffers has created a new platform where it is all hosted on their bulletproof servers so you don’t need to have server geeks on site 24 hours a day.

More awesome features as listed in our HasOffers review.

We signed up for the free trial and gave it a shot a few months ago and we have loved it. Unlike other affiliate network software providers out there it has never went down or even slowed down. I really like the way you can easily private label the system to a custom domain and also use a customer tracking link domain too.

The HasOffers platform has served us very well and we have run 10′s of thousands of clicks thru it without any issues at all. I highly recommend you signup for the free trial and check this system out.

HasOffers.com is hands down the best affiliate network software setup I have seen in my 12 years in this business and that is no bull, just an honest HasOffers review.

You can host your ads for all of your offers and easily tap into their vast network of publishers and other networks. You have the ability to gain massive reach for the right offer.

HasOffers is the best solution I have seen to start an affiliate program or start an affiliate network. There is a full 30 day trial and I have to tell you that I knew within 2 hours that we would be moving to the HasOffers platform entirely shortly afterwards.

I am not just hyping up this affiliate software solution, we have used it and it solved the technical part of the problem quickly and cheaply. Try the free 30 day trial right here.

<img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-521" title="hasoffers-review" src="http://www.pcnineoneone.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/hasoffers-review.png" alt="HasOffers review"width="325" height="132" />

This concludes our HasOffers review, give them a try when deciding on an affiliate tracking solution.

Have you ever wished you could send 1 text message and have it go out to everyone in your contact list? Imagine if you could text the entire softball team and once or text message a dinner special to all your customers on your slowest night of the week?

EZTexting makes this ridiculously easy and fast. You will love the power you will suddenly have at your fingertips. You can have people text a word to a number to get on your list. For example, tell folks to Text the word pizza to 313131 to get special steals and deals from your company.

When they do this you can easily then login to the EZTexting website and send a text message to all your users. Whether it is 10 users or 10,000 users. You will love this text messaging service!

I have been using this to keep up with my daughters softball team. I have been the coach for a few years but this year it is SO MUCH SIMPLER contacting everyone by simply texting the entire group instead of calling each person individually.

We have also been using this service at our car lot. Collecting leads so we can text them secret special deals down the road. One major profit stream many companies look over is the ability to quickly and easily contact their customers or potential customers so they can sell more stuff.

If you have been wanting to get your own text messaging system up and in place for less than a trip out to dinner then click here to check out EZTexting. YOU WILL LOVE IT!

I would not stop using this service now for anything! It only takes about 5 minutes to get setup too.

Millions of Americans were victims in the last 12 months. Most of them had entered personal information into their PCs without a second thought.

They spent an average of $1200 each to fix their problems according to the Federal Trade Commission. In addition to the cash, they spent over 100 hours. Many people feel that the time spent was even more of a loss than the money.

A lot of people think that installing anti-phishing and anti-viral programs is enough. Those things do help protect your PC, but they do not protect your identity.

PC Cop is the best way to protect the personal information that is hidden
on your computer. Every time you ever entered your credit card
number, address, social security number or anything else sensitive it
was recorded on your hard drive and in just minutes any hacker online
or person with access to your pc for a few minutes can retrieve
your person information.

Cleaning your surf history on a regular basis is a good idea. Otherwise, anyone that walks into your home could see where you have been.

If you have recently been doing some online banking, they could transfer the funds into their own account. It is particularly easy for them to do when you have your browser save your passwords for a website.

But, even if you tell the browser to “never” save a password for a sensitive site, the passwords are still stored on your PC. In order to have “real” ID theft protection, you need to encrypt this kind of information.

PC Cop is a software program that can help. It allows you to scan your computer and find personal information that you might not realize is there. Once the info is found, you have the option to delete it, password protect it or encrypt it. It will even help you generate passwords that baffle the best hackers.

After you install PC Cop, your ID theft protection is almost complete. There are only a few more things to do.

First, you want to create a secure user name and password to log onto your PC. You do not want someone to be able to get in easily.

The rest is simply a matter of disposing of documents properly. Any mail that you receive should be checked for personal information before you throw it away.

Things that a thief can use to steal your identity include social security, driver’s license and credit card numbers. Once they have one or more of those numbers, they can ruin your credit rating or worse.

Click Here to download PC Cop

Remember that PC Cop provides the best ID theft protection for your personal computer. The rest is common sense. To download PC Cop just go to PCCop.com.

We all know that Identity Theft is a real problem these days. With so many people suffering from Identity Theft daily you need to learn how to protect yourself in many more ways than just not sharing your information with anyone who doesn’t really need it.

Did you know that hackers can see much of your most sensitive information
on your computer? Or a nosy person who has 4 minutes with your pc alone
can pull your credit card numbers, social security numbers, and anything else
you have ever typed into your computer?

Identity Pro by Atherion Software can help you protect your sensitive information that is stored on your computer. It will help you protect your sensitive information that is on your computer and not allow unauthorized access to your private information.

We highly recommend you download a copy of Identity Pro.

Do you shred your mail before throwing it away? This is definitely not a bad idea, you can get a paper shredder for about $50 and use it to shred anything with any of your information on it before it is thrown away.

Please leave us some comments below on other good ways to prevent Identity Theft.

When goofing off a bit last week I ran across this special link to Save 15% on Inkjet Cartridges from 123 Inkjets. My Lexmark X5650 printer that the wife and kids use had been out of black ink for over 2 weeks so I clicked on the link above and searched yet again for inkjet cartridges for it.

What a welcome surprise it was to find the exact ones I needed in less than 2 minutes and they were half the price that I had seen in my 2 previous hunts for them online at a good price. I ordered 2 black ones and a color one and it only cost me about $75 bucks. That is about half what they wanted at best buy for the same ink refill cartridges.

They arrived 3 days later using the free shipping option and are working great. I could not be any happier with the folks over at 123Inkjets.

Click here to see how cheap you could be getting printer ink refills
