These people steal your identity and run up tens of thousands of dollars in credit for 4 wheelers, electronics, other recreational items, travel plans etc.  Just about anything you can think of that can be bought with credit has probably been used by an ID thief at least once.

ID theft is on the rise this year and with so many people moving to the internet and not knowing how to properly secure their information I fear it will only get worse instead of better in the near future.
